TRAVEL DIARIES to Ujjain City

JAI SHRI MAHAKAL “ BAM –BAM  BHOLE”

Friends..

I got opportunity to take blessing of “Lord Shri Mahakaal” in the year 2019. I have travelled to Ujjain with one of my office collogue Shri Inderjeet Singh . Actually this was our official tour to “Ujjain” we were gone there to participate in “Ujjain Book Fair-2019”  on behalf of our organization .

But I thought that was the call of “Shri Mahakaal” for his “darshan”. It was a very pleasant experience when we visit the Ujjain. Ujjain is a very holy and noise free city peoples are very cooperative. I remember that tour to my lifetime…

In this article I am going to tell our complete journey of “Ujjan City”. And guide you if you visit Ujjain on which places you have to visit in the City of Bhagwan Shri Mahakaleshwar.  What are the precautions you have to taken before plan your journey to Ujjain City. So let’s start:

(Me and Inderjeet ji in pic)
Ujjain:  is a city and district of Madhya Pradesh state of India. And it’s the fifth largest city of Madhya Pradesh state in population. Ujjain is the city pilgrims it’s a city of Moksha as per Garuda Puran there are Sapta Puri’s  for moksha. Meaning of Sapta Puri’s 7 places where our soul got Moksha . As per Hindu beliefs Moksha is the freedom of bondage of birth& death. Lord Shiva gave place in his own asylum to the persons who visit Ujjain. Ujjain is the place where “Sihansth Mahakumbha” happens once in every 12 years. Ujjain is also known the city of veracious king “Raja Vikramaditya”. Ujjain City is situated on the eastern bank of holy river “Shipra river”.

Now let’s talk about our Journery to Ujjain the city of Lord Mahakaal

·         Our Journey to Ujjain City: Our Journey started from Delhi we taken our train “Aayi Aayi Aayi- Malwa Express”  we had  booked our ticket to Malwa Express 15 days before the timing of the train is 7.15 PM to 11 AM  total kms 885 and duration is around 16 hours. On that particular day which day we were going to Ujjain the train got 1-2 hours late due to heavy rain issues and we landed to “Nagari of Mahadev” around 1PM . After left the Ujjain Station we were searching for our hotel to stay there for 10 days in cheap rates and suddenly we met Shri Manoj Kumar  from other organization who is also coming there to participate in “Ujjain Book Fair-2019”. And we jointly searching the hotel and finally we got “Hotel Aashirwad” to stay for 10 days in very reasonable rates. After refreshment at Hotel Aashirwad we went to the venue where the exhibition was going to held. It was at “Maharishi Kalidas Sanskrit Academy”.  The venue was just outer of the city and a very noise free place. We setup our stall their and around 6-7 pm we were left to our hotel.

In the morning of our 4th we have started our journey to “Maa Harsidhi Temple” out of 51 shaktipeetha’s  of “Maa Shakti” one is situated in Ujjain City. As per Hindu gratha’s and beliefs Maa Sati’s elbow was dropped there during “Tandava” of Shiva.  This temple’s also related to “Raja Vikarmaditya” as per history the temple of “Maa Harsiddhi” is more than 2 thousand year ago. And one more interesting fact about the temple of  “Maa Harsiddhi temple” there are two pillars in the premises of Maa Harsiddhi temple and these pillars height is 51 feets each. In these pillar number of “Diya’s” lamps are situated the person who take a vow for his work completion in Maa Harsiddhi temple . He will lighten up these lamps after completion of his will or work.
